Security and Vetting
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of everyone associated with our organisation, we expect our staff to share in this commitment. Before any operative is sent out on a job, they must undergo our rigorous security and vetting process, which includes an identification check, children's barred lists and enhanced DBS check.
Our HR team has undergone specialist document authenticity training and utilise the latest technology to assess the authenticity of of documents provided to us. This further supports our commitment to safeguarding the well being of all those that are associated with our organisation and to comply with current legislation.
DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) & Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA)
The Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) assess every person, who wants to work or volunteer with vulnerable adults. This is used to check whether the individual is banned from working with children or on the sex offenders register. This check is much quicker than a DBS and can be done whilst waiting for a DBS check to come through.
All of our operatives undergo DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) checks (and enhanced).These enable us to make safer recruitment decisionsus and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups and children.
The DBS Service:
- Processes requests for criminal record checks
- Decide whether it is appropriate for a person to be placed on or removed from a barred list
- Splices or removes people from the DBS children's barred lists for England
